2020 will be a crucial year for electric car industry with most manufacturers releasing their futuristic cars such the new 2020 Tesla Roadster. It is an electric sporting car that has a latest platform, better performance and acceleration. The second age group model was initially planned for 2017 by the periodical AutoBild, however there has been a deferment. American manufacturer Tesla has been planning its first offering of a complete sports car. The vehicle’s body would be built on “Gen 3” podium replacing the Lotus Elise podium.
Interior and Exterior Redesigned
Since it is the first offering of a 3rd gen. complete sports car from Tesla, a lot of homework has been done on its design and specifications. It has a very similar curvaceous lines in the front as perceived on the Model S with chrome framed and directed headlight. The car has all the looks of a powerful spots car especially with its shied lines on the edges, stretch out at the rear end, etc.
The new Tesla Roadster 2020 has a very fine seating facility with seats made off Nappa leather and finest elements to bring in extra comfort. With the lightweight aluminum, it also has slick zinc, the Roadster 2020 can be real fast on roads. It will definitely catch the eyes of onlookers not because it’s a rare electric sports car but for its engineering and performance. With the release of the first car in 2020, Tesla will have yet another milestone to its credits.
Engine and Mileage Performance
The new Tesla Roadster was expected to be a 2019 release but delayed to be launched with the update of Model S Sedan which got the “Ludicurous” mode option from its “insane” mode for better performance. It is expected the new Roadster will be much faster than Tesla Model S P85D. It is expected to hit 60 mph at 2.5 seconds which could make it one of the quickest cars in the world. The car might see a huge raise in its range to 400 miles. These are the company’s targets in terms to achieving and making it the fastest EV in market by 2020.
The American company is very ambitious with its third generation Tesla Roadster that was earlier believed to hit road on 2017 but is delayed to late 2019 or 2020. It will be the fastest EV sports car when it hits road in 2020 and will come at a price around $150,000 U.S. dollars considering the Model S costs $125,000 U.S dollars. Though the vehicle comes with an expensive price tag, it will still have healthy competition from Audi R8 E-Tron and Detroit Electric SP: 01 and Faraday Future’s latest car.
The American electric vehicle manufacturer will have the fastest EV in 2020 when its Roadster hits roads. However, it is a long wait to see the 2020 Tesla Roadster, it’s definitely a valuable wait as its engineering at its best with Tesla Roadster sports cars.
